WE ARE BACKKKK

Hello from Bob Pickle! Now if you're wondering why we haven't posted any amazing articles in a while, lets explain! So, as you know, teenagers these days go on Instagram a lot (SMHMHMH) so we decided to ✨✨✨expand our target audience✨✨✨by creating a bobpickle account!! But you know. nothing beats writing on our own website! So, here are some amazing milestones that we had because we are totally an amazing booming business and earn millions and billions of dollars every month!!!

Starting an Instagram account

It all started one day in the library...(best place to be a nuisance) Ri-Yen asked Simone if she wanted to start an Instagram account for this website, Diputs Mi Wix! However, instead of putting Diputs Mi as the name of the account, Simone thought of the name Bob Pickle! (also because bob pickle is Simone's cactus name) What started out as an account to promote this website soon became another thing entirely! But things didn't start out so well... (you see like life for millionaires right they must have difficulties)

Simone and Ri-Yen were not that used to managing Instagram at that time. So, after going to one of the house Instagrams (@faraday_ftw), they followed many people and used their account to follow more! As such, we started to follow a friend's mother and some people from Nanyang or Hwa Chong or other schools! It took some time to clean up the spam following that we did... But, after that we got to 80++ followers and posted our first post!

(unfortunately, at first our followers:following ratio was horrendous and disgusting! it was like almost 1:3)

Our first post

Our first post was of course about what we loved to do sosososo much, TRAJECTORIES! It started off as a minimalist template that was black(RI-YEN IS RACIST NO SIMONE IS MORE RACIST), very much like the format of this website! But then, as our experience with canva grew, so did the beautiful-ness of our templates! But firstly, here is our first post!

At first, the caption was very high effort because Simone and Ri-Yen were scared of being cancelled. But soon it became one word captions (OOPS) as we grew more and more busy!

Our fame grew even more as one of our friends sent a screenshot of our post into the 203 class groupchat! That was so cool of her to do!

And so our account and our knowledge of instagram and canva grew and grew and grew and grew and grew till it became gigantic! (twss)

The Process

At first, we only made what we wrote on this website into posts. But then, we started taking suggestions!!! We made posts about them and it was really fun! In a few posts, we started on an appreciation post, one of the most liked post of that time!

Then, as we continued posting and spam following people, our account soon grew to 100+ followers! And because we always wanted to do a special, that is what we did! It took so much time to make each and every one of our follower's names into a heart shape and we almost died from formatting the heart, but it was worth it!!!

And that remains our most liked post of all time, because... Ri-Yen spent half an hour mentioning everyone in the caption below!!!

Soon, we became very obsessed with our instagram account and as a result, we stopped posting here as much :(((

However, we had an average post rate of 1.5 posts per day last time and within a month, we had almost 40 posts! And thanks to our many many friends, they helped support our account by advertising it on theirs, and helped us increase our followers count! Now, we currently have over 90 posts and a very good almost 1:1 followers:following ratio!!!

Milestone Check!!!

Except, not in the NUSH way. We got some amazing milestones along the way and we were super duper excited!

Selling our first product

So, this all started when Simone was playing with some of the functions on wix and decided to make a fake shop. At first, we only sold sanitea, cacti, clocks, the Diputs Times Magazine, spare muscles and our wallets. It was really simple and we liked our shop very much!

But then, one day, we were advertising our website when suddenly, our friend Ethan asked us if he could actually buy one of our products. And that's how it all started.

Soon, Ri-Yen and Simone were searching our houses for stuff we could sell. Ethan asked us if he could buy a clock (which we had put on our website), and hence Simone found a broken clock from her house and gave it to him the next day.

The best part was, we managed to sell that broken clock to him for $10!!!! (we did not rip him off)

Anyways, that was our first product ever sold. After that, many of our other friends saw what Ethan did and all asked for products too!

But seriously, thank you so much Ethan for being not only our first ever patron, but our best one!! And thank you so much to our other patrons too! We have earned over $60 from selling these products YAYYYY (we used $21 from our profits to buy 2 ice bear soft toys wahaha)

So, here's our shop now!! We have grown it so much and we're planning on adding new products to start a new wave of profits! (PLEASE SUPPORT US)

Getting Employees

Employees?? Child labour????

Nahhhh it's nothing like that! Ok maybe a little...

BUT WE'RE ALSO CHILDREN OK SO IT DOESN'T COUNT AND THEY ALL CONSENTED

So anyways, someone called Zachary saw our account and wanted to work for us. We thought that this would be kinda weird at first, but then we realised that we could just create a team and send him posts to work on, but the rest would still be for us! So this gave us a great idea of making a post to try to "hire" some of our friends. And... that actually worked surprisingly well!

As you can see from here, these are the people who agreed to work for us! They all filled up a job application form and signed contracts before working for us. We then asked them to send them our emails so we could add them to our team!

Now, we currently have a total of 9 employees! (however some of them are very lazy and havent started working on their posts yet >:0)

Rest assured, we pay our employees. Just... not with money HEHEHEHEHH

Nahh jk we pay them with hichews or kitkats!!

Hence, MORE PEOPLE COME WORK FOR US PLEASE WE ARE AMAZING BOSSES

Nushfessions liking our post

Here's something you don't see everyday! How did this even happen though? Well, to tell you, we gotta go all the way back to the start!

So, when we were randomly following NUSH people and stuff to grow our instagram account, we chanced upon nushfessions! They are an extremely popular anonymous confessions posting account for people to pour out their feelings on anything! We never would've expected this, but, one day THEY FOLLOWED US BACK!!!

Then something even cooler happened. We were starting on our crazy SCP phase (that lasted for like 11 posts) and we had just posted part 8 (the face that I may be), when Ri-Yen noticed something on our instagram activity. Nushfessions had, believe it or not, LIKED OUR POST!! We were so shocked!! Why would famous celebrities like our post? Were we becoming famous celebrities? Well, maybe we could!! SUPPORT LOCAL SHITPOSTING BUSINESSES!

By the way, we actually dedicated one of our posts to all those old English people of the past, just like Shakespeare. Recently, we actually posted a post that was a satire news article, except that we set it all the way in 1567, and we wrote about a king beheading 2 of his subjects! Here's some of it:

Oops got sidetracked a bit this was supposed to be about nushfessions liking our post-

Starting a side hustle of: CONFESSION POSTING!

Ah, confessions. Don't you just love tea? Well... So do we!!! Tea is our life force! Tea keeps our lives interesting. And most of all, we get to know all our friends secrets! (we are nosy heh)

So what's all this "confession posting" about then? A while back, we had an amazing idea to create our own confessions form where people could confess anonymously and we would post our confessions!!! Yes, we got the inspiration of this from nushfessions oops

Howeverrrr, you can't be mad at us! We simply admire them so much that we decided to copy them! Remember how imitation is the best form of flattery?

Hence, we love nushfessions!!!

Now, we made a very amazing form and sent it on both of our statuses for everyone to do it! We were actually quite surprised by the number of people who actually took the time to click on the form and fill it up!

We got over 60 responses in about 24 hours and all the confessions were very fun and amazing!!!

Now, for some amazing funny stories...

THERE IS PIT

So, how did this weird thing start?

One day, Ri-Yen had just posted SCPs part 8 (the face that i may be). The next day, Ri-Yen and Simone were checking the Bob Pickle instagram page, when we found a really strange comment.

It was from this random guy called Michael, and all he replied was:

"there is pit"

What...

So anyways we were so confused. Why would he randomly bring that up?

And with such terrible terrible grammar? He should at least go "there is a pit". Confused as duck, Ri-Yen and Simone went back to their post, looking through all the pages to see if they could possibly find out what he meant.

And then, that's when we saw it.

Right in front of our faces. It had been there all along.

Upon closer inspection, one of the sentences in that post said "However, underneath the mall, there is pit, called Site 81/715."

That's when we realised it.

He was pointing out the typo in our posttttt

And that's how THERE IS PIT happened.

(now we just say it to each other all the time for no reason YAY)

So anyways, we decided to reply to his comment, but accidentally creeped him out a bit by sending random peach emojis. OOPS.

All in all, we'd say that that was a very interesting learning experience.
