WHAT IS MASKFISHING?

Have you ever walked along the street and suddenly wondered: wow that person looks great in a mask! Well sure, they may look good in a mask, but what about when they take off their masks? Because they look good in a mask, one would assume that the bottom half of their face is equally as good, and if it isn't what you expect, they would be accused of "maskfishing". So basically, it just means someone who looks better when they're wearing a mask. But how did this become so common??

Due to recent covid times, the wearing of face masks has become more common. We've been wearing masks so much until the point where we feel more comfortable in them. Actually, the term "maskfishing" is a play on the term "catfishing", which is misinterpreting someone's identity online. However, we feel that it's kinda mean to just randomly accuse people solely for the reason that their looks are not as good as with a mask. Hence, we interviewed our friend Bob Pickle, who is a very well-known maskfisher. (No don't cancel us he admitted it himself)

"Yes, I confess that I like wearing masks because when they cover half of my face, it makes me look a lot better! When people look at me with a mask, they think I look amazing! But then when I take off my mask, Diputs says I look hideous as duck," says Bob Pickle. (SEE DIPUTS YOU'RE SO MEAN) (HEYYYYYY) Well, so some people are aware that they are maskfishers, so they continue wearing masks. But we can't accuse them of doing it, it's not their fault that they prefer their appearance with a mask! So how can we solve this problem?

According to professionals (who work at royal tea shops in Germany), 75% of teenagers tend to prefer their appearance with a mask! (yes this data is totally real) The professionals (i.e. the ducks working at the tea shops), state that there are lots of benefits to wearing masks: you can curse under your breath without anyone seeing, you can eat in class and it also protects you from germs! The ducks then wrote a scientific research paper about it which we attempted to plagiarize (scroll to the

bottom of this article to find the link) about the wearing of masks and how it has affected our lives.

Now they proposed a solution to this huge mess. Quoting them, they said, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." Hence, the German ducks are implying that we don't have to keep accusing people of maskfishing, and if we ourselves become maskfishers, then we can't accuse them anymore! Therefore, we would like to advise all of you on behalf of the ducks: CONVERT TO MASKFISHER BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

Once everyone becomes a maskfisher, there will be no more dispute and we can all live in peace and harmony!! (Yay crisis solved)
